These are a few of my favorite things that I use every summer (and sometimes all year round). Tried and true products that I couldn’t wait to share with you. Let’s kick off this summer season right!
Topiaries
Add some curb appeal to your garage, front porch, or patio with these evergreen topiaries. Designed for outdoor use, they come in a two pack and their evergreen style is perfect for year round use.
Shears
I have several pairs of these shears that I use around our homestead. They are my go-to tool for regular hoof trimming on our goats, but I also use them for plants and branches. They work perfectly for floral design when I am doing weddings or HomeKeeper classes, as well as trimming small branches and plants in our landscaping outside.
Patio Lights
I love the look of patio lights over the deck in the evening. We have ours on a timer all year round so they shine for two hours after dark, even on the cold days. I strung 100 feet of them along the deck and over our hot tub for some charming ambiance all year round.
Ankle Boots
I never know when I’m going to need to make a rush out to the yard at a moments notice. Maybe a goat has escaped, maybe I have some scraps to take to the chicken coop, or perhaps I just want to check the mail. These ankle boots have been perfect to slip on quickly, and keep my feet protected from mud, water, manure, and hoofs.
Natural Insect Repellent
Herbal Armor has been my insect repellent of choice for three summers in a row. I love the natural ingredients that are safe for my family, and smell good.
