Lavender Roller

Lavender is my favorite and most used essential oil. Adding it into an easy roller ball is the perfect way to keep this oil ready for all of life’s owies.

Lavender is one of the staple essential oils, nearly everyone who uses oils will tell you that.  It has so many wonderful properties and of course there is the smell.  Mmmm…

You can read about some of my favorite uses for lavender in my blog post entitled MY FAVORITE USES FOR LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL.

But the biggest reason I keep this oil ready to go in a lavender roller bottle can be summed up in one word. CHIGGERS!

Those nasty little things can make you itch until you are about to crazy. Lavender EO is the ONLY thing I have found to consistently provide relief for my family. It’s safe. It’s effective. And thanks to the convenience of a lavender roller, it’s easy to apply, even the kids.

Here is the recipe I use for many of life’s unexpected owes.  I hope you find it useful and enjoy it as much as I do.

Lavender Roller

Supplies:

10 mL roller ball bottle with filament
Lavender essential oil
Carrier oil of choice

Directions:

Combine 5 mL of Lavender Essential Oil and 5 ml of carrier oil in a 10 ml roller bottle.  Replace roller ball filament and shake gently to mix.
